A Father's Love

Here's a poem I wrote for Chloe

A Father’s Love
Can a father truly express his love for his daughter
The way I melt when your smile and run to me
Yelling “Daddy!” when I walk through the door
For out of your words, tones and expressions
There is no doubt about how much you love me
With pride I look at you and call you my own
My cutie-pie, my baby girl, my little princess
Hugging, no, holding you tight, I whisper in your ear
“Daddy loves you, Chloe.  Daddy loves you.”
Waiting to see that smile creep across your face
